Cake smash sessions have become a really popular way to celebrate your child's birthday! I just LOVE them. At Photography by Fiona we like to keep things really simple and now offer two options for our cake smash sessions.
The purpose of a cake smash session for me is for your baby to have a great time, just like a fun sensory experience. We sing nursery rhymes, play and generally just have lots of fun, all whilst I capture your baby's excitement and giggles for you to treasure forever. It's a great option for a birthday present to you and your babying its a fun experience to mark your baby's special day. These sessions are completely bespoke to you and your baby and no session is the same.

How much will it cost?
£495
Our Cake Smash sessions are now All inclusive. There is no hard choosing at all, no up-selling or hidden prices just all your lovely images now included in the price for you to print and share as you wish.
To book I take £95 deposit the remainder is due 48 hours prior to the shoot
Includes:
Photography session in my studio or on location
Different set ups and poses to create a variety of images.
Use of all my beautiful blankets, props and accessories, professionally made cake where applicable
Option for sibling/family images
All the professionally edited images (typically 20-30) for you to download and print as you wish

what is a cake smash?
A cake smash session is held around baby's first birthday. Babies are given a cake and the freedom to eat, play with and destroy they please. For some babies this is their first taste of a cake or sugary treat, so it's a fun milestone to capture.
when is the best time to schedule the session?
Some parents like to do the session very close to baby's birthday. If you want photos in time for the party I do recommend booking a few weeks in advance.
DO i provide the cake?
Of course! We like to support other local small business's and provide a beautiful professional made cake to suit! Please inform us of any allergies prior to the shoot.
Where does the shoot take place?
At the studio so there is no mess for you to clean up, however some babies do make more of a mess so please do bring a change of clothes for mum/dad too as they do love to share the mess.
